During the boom, churches helped people remember their values. The city suddenly had more money and, as a result, more new things were available than ever before. How and what their children were taught brought parents together with teachers and other parents, helping to forge a community in the suddenly transformed city. The class photos in this collection show people who came from many different places and learned to live and work together. Today these portraits act as a reminder of good friends and good times past.
